Placement tests

Why do placement tests?

Before beginning your studies at LaSalle College, you will have to take a written language test to measure your skills in the language of instruction chosen, as well as a second language test. The results of this test will allow us to offer you a path adapted to your needs so that you can obtain your Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS).

Language courses are included in DCS programs because it is a requirement for graduation. They are particularly important in order to prepare you for the English Exit Exam. Please note that failure to pass the exam will prevent you from obtaining your diploma. This is why it is important to follow and pass the language course that will be adapted to your needs.
